Cuba is a world power in sports.
It conquered 2nd place in the 1995 Pan Am Game, only
proceeded by U.S.; in 1996 Atlantic Olympic Game, it
ranked 8th with more than 80 golden metals. Some sports
titles have been kept top of the world sports for a
long time, like baseball, boxing, softball, amateur
volleyball and
men's highjump. Its notable racing achievements on fencing,
weight lifting, gymnastics, judo, biking and shooting
have far excelled many other countries whose economy
is stronger andpopulation larger than Cuba.
Cuban athletes are uniquely talented, young, well-educated
and well-trained.
Cuba process full facilities for sports, all kinds of
courts and swimming pools. Sport activities are popular
in Cuba, especially baseball, softball and boxing, cuban
like playing them very much.
The country has gradually made achievements
in sports, as a result of mass participation in sports
from school age. Government also actively promote sports
by blockading some streets for more sport activities
land when city sports courts lacked. At present, sunny
beach travel, hiking, footing is a fashion of cuban
